Eagles are also opportunistic scavengers, not just predators, and bald eagles are largely fish eaters. Golden eagles eat a lot of rabbits- which make me think of the tea “party” folks, the rabbits, not the eagles.

The Far Right and Conservatives are always sceaming about Freedom and Liberty while supporting people who don’t care about them.

scottfreitas I’ve seen the same thing. This guy is a sad bigot. Seems I remember hearing about John Edwards’ son making fun of Walmart shoppers, so maybe Danziger was big in that household.

Scott might want to consider whether or not the “tea folk” might really be looking at Sarah as “Grand Dragon” or “imperial wizard” not pres.

A Right (as in the Bill of Rights) is something you have that the Government cannot take away even if it wants to.

A Privilege is just that, a privilege granted to you, that can be taken away anything you lose that privilege.

The Rights (Freedoms) taken away in the Patriot Act are that the Government cannot imprision you for as long as it wants without charging you, without letting you know what the charges are against you, without letting you offer any defense, without any trial, and without any recourse.

Under the Patriot Act the Government (that Big Government you always complain about that want to take away your guns, or make you love gays, or kill babies,) can decide you are a “terrorist”, and, without telling what the charges are, or letting you offer any defense, imprision you for as long as it wants, never charge you, but still imprision you, move you to a foreign country without telling anyone, and just let you sit as long as it wants.

You may say that “terrorist” deserve that, and that you are ot a “terrorist”, but remember you are not the one who gets to decide who or what a “terrorist” is, and the Government never has to explain what a “terrorist” is or why they are charging you for being a “terrorist”!

This has yet to go to the Supreme Court, but do you really think the Bush Court will overturn a Bush act?

Also many Dems did vote for this, but then aren’t the Dems the ones you think are always trying to take away your freedoms? So maybe this time, with the GOP help succeed.

Come on, there’s plenty to ridicule about Tea Baggers, who want to “keep government out of my Medicare”, and somehow overlooked Bush’s 1.3 trillion dollar deficit until a black man got in office.

“America, do you really want to support elitists leaders that try to demean average Americans in this fashion?”

Freedom from somebody else to tell me what I can eat, buy, support, own, say, and defend. Freedom to own my own wages and use them as I see fit. Freedom from supporting someone else to kill babies, teach homosexuality as “appropriate”, teach atheism, and rob people via taxation.

Plenty has been said about the Patriot Act on the Left; yet, nothing has been done about it. The Obama Administration has confirmed it’s necessity. I, personally, would rather accountable government agencies have a wide enough capability to pursue their goal to catch terrorists overseas.

Priorities, man.
