Loved the pictures today. But then, I always do. I don’t know how everyone finds these. Color me envious.
One of my husbands’s coworkers had eye surgery and is wearing a patch. Does anyone have a pic with a cat/eyepatch? I MUST make a card for him and address it to Blindo. He gives me a hard time about my cats and fostering – all in good fun, tho. He’s a cowboy with horses and dogs and barn cats so you can see he loves animals.
Speaking of my fosters, I got a call last night from the man who adopted 2 of the Siamese. He said they are changing every day. The Lynx mix is putting on weight and the other is sleek and muscular. He will send pics.
Good morning, everyone.@Beth Peterson – please take care of yourself and get better.@WetandSoggy – Ruth, Linda, good morning to you both. Linda, please get better and come back soon.@QueenofAmerica, glad the previous batch of fosters are doing so well. Are the little ones in your new batch feeling better?
Chesney is going to be saying ‘hasta la vista’ to that Visa card soon. Eldo – love the avocado picture – definitely an Eldo picture. 2old – your series of pictures is great! Love them all. Hope you have more insomnia. - NONO! – I don’t wish that on anyone. Today’s Ten Cats has to bring healthy laughter to Linda and Beth. Hope you both have a good day today.
LadyKat: Yes, they are doing better but it’s a long road to complete health. They have ringworm – if you have ever dealt with it, you know what a nightmare the treatment is. However, they have no clue that they are sick – they run, play, wrestle, chase, etc. And eat like pigs! We have absolutely where they got it. They were born in Dr Susans’ house, had no contact with any other cats until they were at Best Friends getting fixed. They came back to me and were confined to a room with nothing but hard surfaces except the beds I put in there. My cats have no contact with other cats and they are not sick. I had them for 14 days before the outbreak. It’s a mystery.
Just went back to yesterday to see the last posts. Ruth, don’t take no guff from a bossy nurse…pull a Chesney or even better a Lily.D.L. I’m glad to see you got some good responses. Those kittens may be young enough to be tamed. Do try to trap them at least.Get well Beth and Linda. Rooting for you all.
Good morning all, love the pics today, and the strip is just plain laugh out loud funny. Linda isnt moving out of ICU today, she had a rough night, and they stuck her back on the oxygen. She is very dizzy today, and says its worse when she lays on her right side. Her neurologist is concerned and thinks she may have had a mini stroke as her right side is weakened by the strength tests he gave her. She didnt even want her coffee this morning. I have some errands to run and George to walk, then I am going back. Will try to post later but it will probably be in the morning as I am usually tired and hungry so I eat, bathe, love on and play with Tinker and Belle, and then go to bed when I get back. Take care and know Linda thinks of you and reads the print-outs of your comments and is very appreciative of your caring and support.
Hang in there, Linda! We are all here praying for you and sending good thoughts. And you Ruth are a lovely person. I assume her son and DIL are also at the hospital as well? I pray for all of you, that all will be well.
Just a heads-up to anyone who might notice. I’ll be going into hospital for minor surgery tomorrow, so will be out of the loop for a while. I hope to be back on line by Monday.
I have been taking it easy today. I do not have help on the farm…I do it myself because I love my little rescue donkeys and much larger rescue horses. You can’t imagine what it is like to see a beautiful animal reduced to skin and bones. When I walk in the field with them, they crowd around me and give me nuzzeling kisses on the back of my head or on my arms and they will not let me be alone for a second. They won’t let a neighbor’s dogs near me…the mini donkey old ladies chase them away. The hee-hawing when I step out on the porch in the morning is music to my ears…and from the other direction is the nickering of the horses. So…I do it for love (of them) and their love of me.
