    @TEMPLO S.U.D. And my maternal grandmother also spoke 5 languages, although she never had any formal schooling, but knew one important thing about history: “There’s no such thing as ’this war and that war, all the European countries were always at war.”’

    My dad thought TV was a passing fad and would never beat radio in popularity and it never did, for him. He loved that he could listen to radio and keep working in his shop. Did not have to sit and stare at it and waste time like TV.
