Depends on if the little guy is supporting his employees. I will drive miles out of my way to support a startup, where everyone is struggling to make it. But when I see an employer living in a big house and paying minimum wage, no benefits and layoffs when the work gets slow—- might as well go to Walmart.

I;m with you Claire. I support the little guy ALL the time. No Mega-Mart where I live anyway.
