Lucy will show the stray how to do it. Don’t forget…she’s been there.

Overboard. Just take the trash out with you when you leave for work in the morning. He can’t help taking advantage of a meal when he can.

Get a self feeder- the whole bag, or two goes in the top, and trickles out the bottom as they eat it. Once the dog realizes that the food is not going away, he quits overeating and relaxes.

I once adopted a kitten from a shelter. He was always hungry, apparently he’d been on the street, too soon without mama. My vet said to give him as much wet food as he wanted, we always kept dry out.

His record was like 6 tins of kitten food! He relaxed once he knew he’d never go hungry. Though he did like “sneaking” frozen chips from the freezer .. .LOL! Vet said it wouldn’t hurt him :)

Oh, he also had to have a bit of cooked chicken available, the other kits enjoyed that as well

It wouldn’t have stopped Alex, he would have chewed through it all. We always took the garbage out daily.
