Typical teenage girl, quite sure that her Dad is a boring old fogey. Then in a few years’ time she will be amazed at how much he has learnt in four or five years. :)
It’s attributed to Mark Twain, and I’m not sure if he really said it, but, here goes: “When I was 14, I thought my Father was the dumbest man on the face of the Earth. When I was 21, I was amazed at what the old man had learned in 7 years!”
As an Italian I say nothing is better than an big Italian family (as half of NJ) was in my family….and we had some “parties”…… also with the other half of our family in NY
