Before we got ours, my wife always said we’d only get one, because what one dachshund doesn’t think of for mischief, another one will. But when we were offered one for $300 or two for $500 by their mother’s people, she decided that they’d keep each other company while we were at work (keeping them in a crate also didn’t hurt). Other than about the last one’s last year, we always had 2-4 at a time.

The glass can be half full or half empty, it is just how you look at it.

I have 3 dogs and babysit my sons dog when he goes to work. The fun never ends.
