Frazz by Jef Mallett for July 30, 2014
Transcript:
What I will do this summer... Save Someone's Life! Frazz: I'm stumped. You can't be donating blood. Caulfield: They won't let you if you have a new tattoo. Frazz: Did I learn something new about you? Caulfield: Something you assumed was about me. So I learned a little something about you.

Oh, pooh. There isn’t a person in a million who wouldn’t have made that assumption.

I don’t think it’s legal for a kid to get a tattoo is it?
zellman over 10 years ago
He could if he got parental consent.

The end of July and it’s STILL the last day of school. Gonna be a short summer for these poor kids.

I was thinking about blood donating as an option as I have been donating for the last 45 years. .However, in Illinois, you need to be 17 (16 with parent) to donate. I think Calvin has a few years to go. .A worthwhile thing to do, though.

Also, there is an age restriction on blood donation.

OK, this is my last Frazz. I just can’t take this arc any longer. Even his jokes about bikes and motorists, misguided though they may be, are funnier.

Frazz is being a bit of a patsy here (I would assume that a 10 year old would not be able to get a tattoo) and IIRC this is a repeat of a joke that wasn’t that funny the first time.
