Having gone through Wikipedia, one sort-of familiar name under “6 August births” is Geri Halliwell; a.k.a. Ginger Spice of the Spice Girls (b. 1972). As for “6 August deaths”, there’s U.S. First Lady Ellen Wilson (d. 1914).
One of our favorite Frasier episodes has him talking about the two elderly ladies in a movie theater who kept commenting about how young each actor was during the filming and then saying, “Yes, now he’s dead you know!” :~)
First thing that I do in the morning is to check the obits. If my name isn’t there. Then I’ll get out of bed. And, how do they get the people to die in alphabetical order. I miss Cagney, Edward G. Robinson, Hope and Crosby, Laurel and Hardy and many more!
