Once again, so far, no work, by this artist, has appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog (if that changes, the first link will list them). A slightly-different-coloration coloration, enlarged image can be found here (19 May 2005 image).Circe and Her Lovers in a Landscape (link shows her Wikipedia page) is shown, with a modified different coloration image (similar coloration, click-to-humongous image is current image at prior here link), at its current-location page (click image there for interactive enlargement).I say modified, because you can only see faint outlines of the animals to the left and above the spoonbill, in the current page and here link images. The earlier here link image showed them, as do this different coloration image (found here, along with a description) and this one (found here), all of which say it’s at the current-location; but, its page says nothing about their disappearance. The image at the Art Experts page for this artist also shows them; but doesn’t list a location. His Wikipedia page (Google translated Italian Wikipedia page has more) and collection (more under Subcategories at each level).

Puddlesplat, I googled this painting, Circe and her Lovers in a Landscape, and that weird creature is not in the images shown. Anyone know the story?
