Maybe the ‘Us’ vs “You People” is part of some lizard brain mindset. Like the species change mental shift people have to work through when first becoming a mutant. She’s going within instead of being open as she was when not a mutant. Struggling with the feeling that staying with the reptiles feels right to her now. So she distances the others to make the pushing away easy.
I can almost see where Sarah’s coming from. She’s someone who is not good at confiding in people, she’s just learned the truth about this place and may be considering the possibility that it could be best for her to stay in this colony. She has a lot to think about and nobody she feels about talking with about it. Jim has already told her that he followed her into mutanity because he loved her, how will he take her saying “I’m staying and you must leave.”? Holly is a new person who she hasn’t formed a bond with yet. Piotr is even newer and has an agenda so he can’t be trusted. She really needs to confide in somebody, and at the very least, she should tell Jim and Holly what the score is here. The problem is will she find a way to do it?
Maybe Sarah is possibly remembering March 13, 2014 and considering a future where a Racoon’s and a Lizard’s , ahem- plumbing, don’t match. In that sense, Sarah could find fulfillment in the lizard colony.

When people don’t wanna talk about it… that’s usually the time they most need to.

Nice. Her husband followed her into mutanthood because she had cancer, and he wanted her to be well, and now he’s “you people”?

Sarahs probably feeling like someone had died and left the responsibility of their children to her, and she didn’t even know them.

So where has Wally gone?…
gamiath over 10 years ago
Wally is likely still in “detention” for beating up the cook with a broom handle.
