Cybil knows what she wants and how to get it….

My cats love dry cat food. One of them loves, loves cheese too. When I try to give them ‘people’ food they usually look at me like I’m crazy.

I would think Cybil would rather have her bird served raw, minus the feathers of course.

Who let Cybil get her paws on that shotgun? Well, think of it as a teachable moment [that’s a currently fashionable bit of twaddle, isn’t it?]: Lio can improve his culinary skills!

Lazarus, my Norwegian Forest Cat, used to like to take my Colt Match Grade AR 15 to hunt mice with. He didn’t like shotguns, because, as a cat, he found the recoil excessive.

I never did figure out he was able to work the charging handle, without thumbs. He was a resouceful cat, I will grant him that. I imagine Cybil to be equally resourceful.

Hey Scott the Badger, my cat prefers a Keltec .32 auto paw pistol for close encounters of the mouse kind. Better than lugging a shotgun or AR-15 around!

(makes sure the door to the study is closed, because the cat don’t need any new suggestions)

Meanwhile, there’s mouse bait all over the house, and in the corners, with a little powder residue on parts of it.

My Siamese, Esmeralda, wholeheartedly agrees with Cybil.

My cats aren’t licenced to carry, but what cat follows rules? I can see it now, “I am slowly rising from the armchair, removing my paper, and crossing the room. Have a nice prewarmed cushion Kitty and lower the weapon, PLEASE!”

Better living through superior firepower.

My big orange tabby won’t touch people food - if I try to give him something a human would eat, he lets me know that he doesn’t eat like a commoner.

That’s one way to make sure Lio gets the food order correct! License or not.

Go ahead….make my dinner.

My kitties love their dry food but one of them will eat just about anything. Her favorite people foods include peanut butter and pasta.

I think Lio has guaged the situation correctly. I give it a 12.

One of the big rules of life is this - NEVER arm a cat.

This is why cats are not mentioned in the Bible - it says “You shall have no other gods before me”. Cat’s don’t accept that commandment.

…tsk… I’ve known cats like this. Never in my home, that’s for sure! Probably why I’ve become basically a dog person, I guess. (that plus allergies.)

Lio had better be careful, or that mean little pu$$y will have him whipped.

My two cats like dry food, but they get wet food twice a day. Joey also has quite a taste for bacon and shrimp. Lily likes tuna.

It’s a good thing Cybil has good aim…….then again, Lio probably has 9 or more lives HIMSELF………

Awesome. I better not let my cat read this.

Maybe Cybil doesn’t like fish. I know that our cat likes chicken but turns up his nose to anything fish.

one of my cats I got from the pound - she had been found at a homeless shelter. she won’t eat most people food, but goes nuts for bread and doritos.

The cat that resides in the same home as I, only gets dry food, when I give him wet he turns into Stinky Psycho Cat.

Long ramble/reminiscence on the way. Please skip it if such things irritate you.

My kitty loved plain corn and most varieties of corn chips, and he’d eat dry cat food, but only REAL tuna fish, not regular wet cat food.

He was a white Maine Coon cat and weighed 30 lbs in his prime. He was also deaf, but still occasionally slept in the middle of the street because it was warm. Never got hit, somehow.

We lost him when he got in a fight with a neighbor’s dog that got loose. The dog is completely blind now with massive scarring on its face and slashes in its ears, but it got Matt’s throat and the injury kept Matt from being able to eat enough.

Man, I miss that cat.
