I guess it’s too much to ask if he can do anything about the infestation of politicians.

I care for several tarantulas and this reminds me of a dream I had where I rode a greatly grown tarantula to a school I taught at.

Mark has gotten better on his spider anatomy. Nice job on the tarsal claws! This big guy is an interesting combination. It has the eyes of a jumping spider (a ‘true’ spider) and the fangs of a tarantula.

One could put forth the contention that Lio himself could be in some jeopardy…

Yes, I know this is not what a true spider looks like; I certainly have taken a few liberties. I have several spider books and I combine all the features of the spiders that I like. The hardest thing with a single drawing of a spider is to make it look like it is walking. Harder than it looks.

LarryNelson, I love the jumping spiders. Cute little things. But I thought they had fangs like Lio’s spider.

Love your spiders, Mark. Doesn’t anybody remember Arachnophobia–that spider mated with any other spider and created all sorts of mutants.

Can Lio bring his spider to the book store and carry away the small annoying children and the parents who let them get away with it?

This reminds me of when I saw The Giant Spider Invasion on TV, although Mark’s giant spider looks a lot better than a VW Bug with fur and fake legs.

Will he also handle small, annoying dogs?

Now who’d use the “Small, Annoying Children” bid on Calvin? His parents, Susie Derkins, Miss Woomword? I know Calvin would use it on Susie and Moe.

But even HE can’t handle roaches.

I wonder if Lio also exterminates annoying “Twilight” fanatics…….

No knock, Mark - I think Lio’s eight legged friends look great. It’s a shame that there are no large eyed tarantulas in nature. They would be really interesting creatures.

I can appreciate what you say about drawing walking spiders.. all those legs!
