the General and I must be the only two people around that actually like creamed chipped beef on toast.
My Marine husband will hardly come in the kitchen when I fix it for me.
S.O.S. I love that stuff
My hubby likes it okay, he taught me how to make it when we were first married. I can eat it, but won’t say it would replace dessert for me.
Ludmilla’s line is worth a million bucks: “Da, Ludmilla will agree that you are more of a savory man.”
How dull! How romantic! How clever (the double meaning)! How hilarious!
I’d probably go for a second helping of CCB on toast in preference to most desserts.
I love SOS. First had it in the Air Force in the 60’s.
Chipped beef on toast, aka SOS, was something I really liked about the military.
when my son was about 4 (50yrs ago) we were having creamed chip beef on toast and when go up on the chair and looked at his plate he said there was dog food on his plate. But the military changed him 18 yrs later.
When I was in the Marine Corps, we referred to it as “Sh!t on a Shingle”. I agree with pearlandpeach’s husband!
