Ah. Here it is this morning.#We may live in a post-apocalyptic world, and all be mutant lizards now, but, what the hey, we still know what the cliche phrase “throw me under the bus” means…

Just put out the right story: Wally didn’t best just any Reptilian, he bested Phil—-I doubt if Phil has endeared himself to that many of them.#But that does leave the question: why was Chic put in the kitchen under Phil?

“Give me a chance” does not sound like a fair fight to me. Also how could they know about the dittos?

So Phil’s hobby of beating on smaller residents isn’t condoned?

Watch it! Wally might whip your butt again Phil.

So….Not all lizards are bad..And perhaps this lizard colony isn’t so bad, after all.

When he was explaining the colony to Sarah, Piotr explained the one mutation only policy in terms of “one in body, one in mind”. That external conformity would be the most certain road to harmony. The rift between Phil and the leader suggests we have more of a “one in body, many in mind” situation. Some folks, like Mr. Pepper, follow the official line. The treating mutants as second class citizens is an act to make them feel unwelcome and get them to leave. Phil is suggesting that there are others, like him, who sincerely believe the whole “reptilian supremacy” thing. The question is, are there enough to force the fearless leader’s hand?

Looks like the gang walked out of one political snafu only to walk right into another. So much for getting away from it all.

Is this a full on Nazi allegory? There isn’t a single thing said here that makes anyone sound less than evil.

Allow to be bested? He lost a fight, and now is trying to make his failure a matter of all reptilian pride. Now he takes steps to use blackmail and set up another, probably crooked, match.Is there a Rabbit around to set this guy up for a future rope?

So, did Phil get beaten by bringing a knife to a broomfight, or a knife to a catfight? Wally’s got a lot of fight in a comparatively small cat. How’s Phil gonna rig a fight without being discovered? Please keep Level_Head in your thoughts. Level_Head was our extremely gifted resident poet laureate or bard, and he has been rising up to meet some serious challenges, and has a long road ahead of him to recover from his most recent, and finally comprehensible diagnosis. Piotr said everything the non-lizards see is theater to drive away the audience, so everyone’s role in the colony could be a matter of casting. Phil may think he should be playing someone more important than the cook.

You heard him, folks… Phil asked for the chance to trash Wally.When you ask for a chance at anything, you know there will always be the possibility of losing…

Ah, but does Phil think it’s just a chance, or that he’ll win this time?
