    I’ve been around at least 40 different dogs and at least 20 different breeds in the past 50 years. I’ve never heard one of them burp…..The other end sure..sneeze, yeah……but never burp.. (I even owned a dachshund who hiccuped)

    My first sheltie would burp, usually after he ate something really fast because he thought it would get taken away from him…he was partial to raw fish.. and marshmellows..

    he made all sorts of odd noises…my husband trained him to sneeze on command. It was a great party trick.
