Yay OS/2! Used it when they came out with Warp..I finally went to the Dark Side when I got tired of mucking with the OS to conform to MS’s latest change— I just wanted to run programs. Finally with Win7 there was a Windows OS I could like, if not love. Zip! Win8: five steps back..And Linux (which I use at work, command-line) offers the same “mucking with the OS.” Some folks like to tweak, but I don’t have the patience anymore.
OMG! Someone who thinks like I do!!!!I’m hanging on with a death grip to my Windows XP OS on my desktop and using OpenOffice for my suite. What am I going to do when they (inevitably) fail?(58 years old)
Funny – but I’m gonna nerd out – that’s a TRS-80 – way before OS/2 (and yes, I had one) – just had Level II Basic – though I could also do Z80 assembly … But… Never mind
