Now Now Once again we see Andy thinking only of Flo. I can imagine the look on her face after she brings his dinner and beer when he hands her a small box and says “Pet, this is what I think of you” Priceless.
Andy is such a loving and sentimental husband. Even though he can’t afford such a costly present for Flo, he is still quite willing to put forth the effort to make her happy.
A gift that is personally hand-made is always more thoughtful. I’m sure that everyone would agree with that. The old adage “it’s the thought that counts” comes to mind after reading today’s strip.
Flo, you are such a lucky woman! You have surely found yourself “a keeper”. No wonder your marriage has endured for so many years. All men should consider this example of selflessness, especially during the current economic downturn.
Andy can’t even walk down the street without think of ways to make Flo happy. It must break his heart when something like a lack of funds prevents him from doing so. You’ve tortured yourself enough Andy, you deserve a beer.
