Known that feeling. Parent company hubby retired from set low limit means when I had left knee meniscus tear repaired I had pay over $1000 to cover before health insurance kicked in again. I feel for families with children who get sick. Workers do not like have no choice.
Once upon a time, doctors and hospitals got to make the decisions—and often it was to treat the poor gratis, or nearly so. Then the bean counters got involved, and decided to “make a better profit.”
