Political correctness among kids?

In the words of Fred Sanford “You mean a dummy. You dummy!”.

I can understand why Ruthie feels that way.

Now today it would be a “special” puppet! (You have to be quick to keep track of the pc term…)

PC goes well beyond cordiality and into stupidity… hence “mentally challenged puppet” vs “dummy.”I have more respect for the Deaf community for rejecting the PC label than I do for those who insist on PC labels. All PC has accomplished is to make words like “special” and “challenged” into insults.

Well, isn’t that special.

Let’s hear it for the dummy and midgets, too! “Midget” NEVER was/is a derogatory term, just a descriptive one. Perfect to use to describe the minds of those who think otherwise.
