I eventually learned as a kid that “I don’t think you’d like it” meant “there’s something about this that I don’t want you to see”. Although it could be “I don’t want to spend the whole movie explaining it to you.”
I never saw any of the “Ernest” movies, and I never intend to. He did milk commercials as “Ernest” before doing those movies, and I thoroughly hated the character then.
