I started back to college at a community college in my late 20s – it took me a decade to get that 2-year degree. Then, after a couple years, I went to university – 40 ISN’T THAT OLD!!!
When I finally get rid of the student loans, I’m going back for my master’s – I’ll probably make the papers by then…
It’s expensive. but worth it. And FUN. I’m going for a math degree next. IT turned out NOT to be something I’m particularly good at.
Sorry, yet age 83 time to relax. For me, I went back to technical in my 40’s, and then back again after let go mid 50’s from the county I worked at part-time Receptionist work. The job market is changing again.

I did that in my 50s for an MS. I was always the oldest in the class and only once had a professor older.
