I can remember watching “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea” and being scared by the creatures they showed. I would have nightmares afterwards. I was such a wimp (what do I mean “WAS”? I still am!!) I do NOT like anything scary. I am reluctant to watch movies that have unhappy endings, even. I have enough downers in real life, I don’t need to see them on the screen.

One of our sitters watched soap operas. To this day, the girls refer to them as “The Crying Lady Shows”.

My once-upon-a-time boss let her brothers babysit her kids once. They took the kids with them to see “The Blues Brothers.”

I still marvel that my parents took me to see “Terminator 2” when I was 8.

i bet the “nasty babysitter” will no longer be called to babysit April Mae and probably lost any future jobs such as for Ruthie and Joe.
