The poor cat is probably deathly afraid, they do lash out like that in fright. It’s alone, scared, and probably hungry and thirsty. They should leave some dry food and water and walk away. Leave that cat alone! Grrr

And if that car hasn’t been moved in a long time, it’s also very likely that it is a she and has kittens she’s protecting!

The’re gonna change Jame’s name to Claude.

that cat has probably been tormented for so long it doesn’t know how to act like a cat that is a pet. we have 8 that are feral that i trapped and had fixed and then released back in our neighborhood. they are fed day and night and i have houses for them in the winter. as long as you treat them with respect they won’t bother you. what is a shame are the people who get tired of taking care of them and turn them out like there is plenty of food and shelter out there for them to survive…. not the case! for this cat, they should call a no kill shelter to come trap it and take it in.

One of my docs – who at the time was the mother of young children – once asked for information on Phantom Limb. I made a comment about having “The Music of the Night” stuck in my head now. She replied, “You’re lucky. All I have is silly songs from the Wiggles.”
