Never doubt the power of the grandma PSSSST.

That’s showing him who’s boss!

Shoulda thrown a ball of catnip under there to see what happens.

Someone should befriend the cat. Take it home and feed it.

Clap and yell. Walk toward it, but allow it a place to escape, so it doesn’t feel forced to attack. Cat? Hiss. Mountain lion or coyote? Wave your arms to look bigger.

When I was young, my dad would yell “Go home!” and clap to shoo off any menacing loose neighborhood dogs.

First thought orange car was running over the cat

Problem solved, unless there’s a grandma on the other side.

Keep the cat crossing back and forth… sooner or later, the problem will be solved.

So we still don’t get to see any part of the cat besides the forelimbs.

Good job Grandma, now another Grandma on the other side. Ruthie is right.

Maybe Grandma could do the same thing on the other side of the street.

For this whole arc I’ve been thinking: why don’t the get the owner to start the car and drive away? Either the cat will be run over, or he will run away before that happens. Either way, the problem is solved.

You underestimate the power of annoyed Granny or Gramp at your peril.
