When I was his age I wanted to own a junkyard. For some reason I really liked seeing wrecked vehicles.

His future looks grave.

At this point, Joe doesn’t understand yet that the “customers” have family who WILL complain!

Sell ‘em the “Perpetual Maintenance” deal!

And poor little Joe doesn’t realize there that management is harder to do than the actual work… how many people have you seen that think that the manager’s job is to sit around all day issuing orders?

Joe’s a precocious little kid, isn’t he?

If Joe spent as much time learning as he does avoiding it…

No Joe ….your customer’s “Family Will Complain”… as usual.

You’ll still need to read the stones, fella. OTOH it’s one of the few businesses where your customers are always just dying to get in.

My cousin Matt at one time wanted to be a trucker so he wouldn’t have to do math. My brother-in-law laughed at that – he was running a trucking company at the time.

Or, “I want to be a kindergarten teacher.” Because he’s been through kindergarten, so he knows everything he needs to know.
