    Joe, If you’re going to start correcting English usage again, would youi kindly use correct punctuation when doing so. The errors sort of ruin the, “I’m smarter than you.” effect.

    Back in early, early, early “Garfield” comics, Jon smoked a pipe.

    There were two back-to-back strips –27 July 1978 and 28 July 1978– where Garfield was smoking Jon’s pipe.

    Thank goodness Davis made Arbuckle quit later on.
