I quit smoking cold turkey 38 years ago. Yes, I was 12.

Back in early, early, early “Garfield” comics, Jon smoked a pipe.

There were two back-to-back strips –27 July 1978 and 28 July 1978– where Garfield was smoking Jon’s pipe.

Thank goodness Davis made Arbuckle quit later on.
