This country won’t heal itself until something is done about the overwhelming financial debt we are in…China and Japan own us…

Some politicians don’t want to see health care or healing for the country.

With a few million people out of work and prices going up daily, an actual program to fix the economy and create jobs would help. We won’t need health care if we all starve to death in the meantime. There’s a lot of hot air coming out of Washington, but nothing of real substance. And we’ll probably be taxed on the hot air too.

    Great strip today!

(re: “heal” to a deaf dog - not even close to an analogy because the word for a dog is “heel…” Sigh.

Wow! Patience really DOES pay off! This formerly ultra-liberal forum is finally taking their blinders off and recognizing the Democrats for what they are! If I don’t have a job, I can’t afford health care, even if it IS ObamaCare!

Sarge112751 - That’s hilarious! I’m gonna borrow that one! And… Pelosi needs a halloween mask like California needs higher taxes!

“Government: If you think the problems we create are bad, just wait until you see our solutions.” - Despair.com

The first step to healing is admitting that you have a problem. The next step is to eliminate the root cause; not just band-aid the symptoms.

Our problem is that we’ve let a bunch of socialist jerks run wild with our money (and that of many future generations), selling our country to China to pay off the unions. We need to send the Spenders in Congress packing and dump our chain-smoking President.

To Yukoner: If this bleeep legislation is so good for the country, why did over 50% of the blowhards in both houses vote themselves off the rolls.

Besides, when did any legislation come out of Congress that benefited individual taxpayers?

This country “Doesn’t have health insurance”? So you thought you could pull that lie off, huh? You may have bought into the liberal hype, but don’t assume that everyone else has.

Of course we have insurance. We just don’t yet have a national program in place to “insure” that everyone waits months to get sub-standard care, paid for by the taxes of those of us who work for a living.

The only way to heal this country is to remove the admitted communists squatting in the White House. The ones that the “unaware” people were mislead into voting in, and the ones known as Czars, that the misleader brought in through the back door to bypass the established system of our republic.

February was the highest spending month in history, $220.9 BILLION, second only to last February.

The intentional collapse of the United States can only be stopped by the people taking back the government, reducing it to bare bones and forcing it to adhere to the Constitution, which this communist is clearly in total violation of, not to mention the will of the people he blatantly disregards with his elitist nose in the air!

Government run healthcare is only a means to YOUR end, and the end of life, every which way imaginable, as every American knows it.

“The budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed lest Rome become bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.” Cicero - 55 BC

So what have we learned in 2,065 years?

    Evidently nothing….

I just read a great article by Mark Steyn that explains why the Dems are willing to go down in flames in November after forcing through their hideous healthcare DEform.

It’s because they know that once passed, nobody will ever have the guts to undo it. They will have governmentalized about 1/6 of the economy (equal to all of France’s) and made Americans dependent on the government for their literal existence. In other words, the biggest step outside of a totalitarian dictatorship toward what socialists around the world have dreamed of for 150 years.

For the power-lusting Dems (and their Repub sympathizers), it will be worth a few years in the wilderness.

So who is Mark Steyn and why should anyone care what he thinks about Health Care Reform. I read he’s one of those Rush Limburger Ditto Heads.

One of the best things I’ve heard in recent days is Rush threatening to leave the country if Health Care Reform Passes. YIPEE - Call your Congressman/woman We Want Heath Care Reform NOW - with single-payer (universal) health care coverage.

Go live in Canada then. It works so well there that their officials come here for medical attention. Being so uninformed is no longer acceptable! It’s gleeful ignorance like that that’s destroying this country, GJJ.

Look up Frontline, especially the one called “Sick Around the World”.

Every country in the industrialized world has something, sometimes partly private, some mostly private, but everybody who shows up gets taken care of.

The US is now something like 47th in the world, and we pay twice as much as anybody else. Sheesh!
