Good morning, Vagabonds. @DAVID, my comic clippings go back to the early 80s. They are mostly the same comics I read online. My purpose in saving them is to illustrate how cartoonists illustrate ideas such as thought bubbles for thoughts, electronic bubbles to show someone is talking through the phone, etc. I’ve wanted to write a book illustrating this but the problem is I was told that the Features charge a lot of money for using their comics.

Yesterday, my roommate’s younger brother took all my clippings that fell on the floor and bagged them so the floor is clear. I’ll put the bags away as I’ve looked though most of them. Now my room looks more peaceful and my bed is against the wall as I moved the small pieces of furniture that lined the wall between my bed and the wall into my empty closets.

Jack’s doctor’s appointment is today, his meds are through, and his pain level is tolerable. (a 4 on the scale of 1 to 10)

Good morning, Vagabonds. (Almost afternoon – sorry I’m so late.)

Yesterday’s luncheon was perfect. Our usual hostess was having out of state company, so as the back-up hostess, we had it here. Good food, good fellowship and good prayer.

No rain yesterday (sigh) and clear skies today. Monsoon season will be officially over at the end of August. Supposed to be about 105 on Saturday but back down to below 100 on the Holiday. Nice weather to stay inside.
