    kind of like the way the Dutch do pole vaulting (for distance over the canals according my Dad). hope he makes it acroos the road to a soft landing spot.

    Pole vaulting over a busy highway could be a sport. I would probably watch it.

    I can’t tell if the vaulter is going from right to left or left to right. Agreed - this would be much more entertaining if they were vaulting the 405 Freeway at rush hour (one of So. California’s nastiest freeways…)
