the NFL’s sack leader last year (Colts’ Robert Mathis) was suspended 4 games for taking a fertility drug so his wife could have a baby.Rice for beating up and dragging around his wife gets 2 games suspendedand this SOB Goodell has the GALL to defend that decision
@nighthawks I, along with others, have been asking the same question. Too bad the media has stopped asking that question. They are no more than bleating sheep/lap dogs for the NFL. ESPN pundits are the worst of that lot. I always found it amusing that many in the sports media rail on about PED/HGH/steroid use in baseball and about the sanctity of “Their” game, yet remain mostly silent about the same issues with the NFL. What’s really going to be interesting is to see what, if anything, Goodell does with Mr. Irsay. Quick to act on the players, yet nary a peep on Mr. Irsay.
Hard to say which is more frightening, whether the NFL would try to sell the TeeVee rights or how many people would watch it? -Or, if they did it live in an NFL city, how many fans would show up to boo any punishment of their team’s players?

ESPN is to the NFL what Quisling was to the Nazis.

While I totally agree with the comments here, I hope everyone who’s ragging has stopped watching and supporting pro sports.
‘Cause if you don’t, you’re proving their policies right.
By the way, I don’t watch pro sports.
