Why ,has Australia once more become a dependency of Britain and therefore part of the EU?

^ Dammmright! Franco did a great job before in Spain, as did Salazar in Portugal. The Greek Colonels’ Coup of ‘67 tried to do it right after the Generals wimped out but ultimately failed in ‘74. Oddly enough, the Captains’ coup in ‘74 in Portugal brought in frigging commies! And just when Portugal was progressing so well economically! Fortunately, the threat of another coup a couple years later rid them from power there. Close call, whew. :-| But now, the ugly head of socialism rears! We must strike now, save Southern Europe! Is there anyone there who can help? Even another Corporal?

^ :) Cool. My mother’s family was split, some of her aunts & uncles & cousins were communists and actively opposed the dictatorship in the underground resistance while a few others supported facism. None were military and part of the actual coup.
