Why is Garfield being so nice to Odie today?

Just trying to give him a little exercise is my guess.

I guess nothing came to mind today, eh Jim?

I wonder what Garfield has done this time?

No, I’d say Garfield is showing us how easy it is to placate a dog!

Our basset, weather permitting, will spend the entire DAY on his “lead”, sitting (or sleeping) on HIS front porch. Until he realizes he MAY be missing something INSIDE the house, then he wants _IN_ - but nothing is happening - he wants OUT, then he’s OUT - then he’s IN!

Drives my wife NUTS!

Glad to see the perennially happy dumb-dog Odie again. He always makes me smile.

This cartoon is just showing how easy it is to please a dog. Try that with a cat. Garfield is being a cat.

I know Garfield loves to aggravate on Odie. He asks Odie who will want to go back in? I am sure Odie will slam his face at the closed front door. Garfield will roll over the grass and laugh hard.

It’s Garfield’s day of rest from picking on Odie. Alright, maybe he has a fever?!

I think it’s funny too, but I also think it’s a “Garfield” reflection on spring. Looks like spring around here out west.

Garfield is easy to amuse.

Most pets can’t make up their minds on wether they want to go in or out. Dogs even more enthusiastically so.
