Well, Mr. Otterloop’s head does seem to be becoming more transparent. I can see Alice’s speech balloon behind it.

Just noticed that Peter and Petey have matching cowlicks. (Can’t include the hairs that are rising atop Petey’s head when he thinks he sees the Headless Surfer Dude. It does seem like the hairs on the back of his neck should rise, too, because that’s where you feel them the most. But maybe his hair’s been cut too short back there.)
