To little boys of that age, what in the world else are legs good for?

I think John has the same reaction as howtheduck. It’s supposed to be one of those “kids say the darndest things” or showing the difference between kids and adults.

howtheduck, I don’t think it was a joke. Just how a child’s mind might look at things.

Lawrence will not able to kick anyone since he had the cast off from his leg. Let his leg heal in more time till his bone become strong enough.

mroberts88, I will do the same thing, too! I will kick behind their butts for not using the common senses! sighhhhh!

-When my son said something like that, after a minute or two, he would add “mom, thats a joke” and run off giggling.

wildmustang1262, the problem with common sense, is that it isnt common. Maybe kicking people for not using common sense will make it more common.

I have to rephrase my statement, because someone had to have my comment removed for no reason, because they can’t let anyone else speak.

Lawrence practically raises himself. His mother is too busy, off stalking Phil. It’s a wonder he was smart enough to know he needs to lay off kicking people for a while longer. Here he showed us that he has more sense and potential than his mother does. He must get it from his father, which explains why the man was smart enough to run away and never look back.

MrsLukeSkywalker said, “He must get it from his father, which explains why the man was smart enough to run away and never look back.”

So…like THAT is better than what Connie does? Running away from responsibility?

Doesn’t sound very Smart to me.

DuBois, he got away from CONNIE. Do I always have to talk like I’m explaining to little children? Connie ended up a single mother for several reasons. She could have sued him for child support. They did have it back then. I don’t know much about Lawrence’s father, other than what a few people explained here over time, but YA, he was smart to get away from the likes of Connie. I never excused the fact that he never had anything to do with his kid though, so go try to argue with someone else. You’re accusing me of saying things I did not even imply.

I see my other comment is gone again, but all the ones advocating kicking people are all still here. Interesting.

Sorry Susan, I can’t respond to you because someone here doesn’t like it when I say anything. They keep deleting it.

    @Skywalker

If you don’t understand why you keep getting deleted let me explain. For example your comment “Do I always have to talk like I’m explaining to little children?” is rude and condescending. It’s mainly your tone not your viewpoints. You notice that Susan does not get flagged. Ms. DuBois did not deserve that comment. If she misunderstood your comments then fine we all make mistakes. I’m sure you’ve done plenty yourself. So have I. We don’t need to be slammed down with a hammer for it. All you needed to do is say simply “Ms. DuBois you didn’t understand me.”

BTW I rarely flag and I don’t believe I’ve flagged any of yours.

Oh Howtheduck….I think its called wry humor, and funny that a kid is so matter-of-fact about his friends plight. But the most important thing about humor is the audiance. If you start off not liking the person, nothing about it will be funny.

One other thing Howtheduck: I love your research skills and that you post it for others to view. Now I’m curious about your intent. You are obviously very involved and informed with this strip and yet you don’t seem to give any slack to any of the folks in it. Do you like these guys or not?

Thanks Howtheduck, and thanks for proving my point with your information.

BigHug, ATTITUDE is not a reason to remove a comment. I do not swear, insult or argue with people unless they start on me first and I occasionally let them have it back. Attitude and opinion are not stated in the “rules” as reason to keep deleting my comments that barely say anything. The hate around here is ridiculous, especially with what remains here. The censors are also clearly biased, because nothing they deleted of mine broke their rules as stated, nor did they intend to. There’s a lot of other ATTITUDE around here, and advocation of violence that somehow is ok, Just look up! ^^^ The rules are arbitrary and the reasons for flagging everything I ever say are petty. I also see a lot of foul language that stays here too, along with constant insults of my religion. Apparently that’s not offensive to the censors. My comments are about the comic, period, yet the backlash at me is always aimed directly at me by name and is always vicious, and AGAINST THE RULES as they are stated, yet it doesn’t get deleted. Want to defend that? I didn’t write this “comic strip”. I can’t help what it is, and I won’t sugar coat what it is so people will like me. Nobody else does, and it’s ok for them, but if I’m the 8th person with the same opinion, I get all the hate comments directed at me, nobody else. Can you explain that? Nobody sees when I stick up for the characters though. I’d rather be me and see the truth, than delude myself constantly like others apparently do. The reason that they do has previously been deleted, because they couldn’t handle hearing it.

I don’t expect you to see this. I know it will get deleted just because I wrote it.
