Dying too young is bad enough. That he was his own cause of death makes it even more tragic.

(Of all the news coverage I saw, nobody mentioned Jonathan Winters who had a great influence on Williams’ style. Will Robin Williams fade from memory too?)

Going through some stuff this weekend found an old taping we made when Robin Williams did “Good Morning Saudi” for the troops in 1990 back in the first Gulf War. .RIP Mork from Ork.

It’s been 9 years since his death, and I still can’t get over it. I didn’t think about him as my favourite actor, but I loved him being a person who brought so much happiness into the world, and it still makes me so sad that it had to end that way…
