Dad: Baldo, how can I create a new folder so I can move these files but not these others? Baldo: The way you always do it. Dad: How do I always do it? Baldo: You ask me to do it for you.
That’s like the third cartoon today about how kids teach their parents about computers. My teenaged sons are still asking me for help, though when it comes to Facebook and online games, they are more experienced.
Learning computers requires large amounts of time. Working people with busy lives simply do not have the time to devote to trial and error like the young and the elderly.
Do not be ashamed to ask and “learn” from someone else. I make notes sometimes on operations that I perform rarely and can refer back when necessary. As you grow with computers notes will become less necessary.
Speaking of computers, whatever it is that’s making the strips show low-resolution is spreading.
Carlos, as a content provider can’t you make a little fuss about this? Good artwork deserves good reproduction.
(I think poor scanning contributed to yesterday’s confusion over the broomstick; the regularized irregularity of the lines makes me imagine that they would have appeared perfectly straight had the original artwork been printed in analog rather than digital.)

Baldo, if you teach Papi how to do it himself, he won’t have to bug you about it anymore.

Most of what I know about computers is wrong. For instance, right now I think I’m reading Google News.

The computer cannot do it by itself, YOU have to do it and know how to input anything/everything on the computer by yourself.

TrapperJohn, I know what you mean about your father. I have same thing with my father. He was too old to learn on something on the computer. sighhhhh!
