Burl, snotty though he is, has a point. I believe some doughnut shops have stopped putting the waxed paper in with the pastry, and just slide it into the bag. But who knows where it was before then?
I always order a bagel. Doesn’t have the same temptation that a doughnut might have for some folks.
you know, he DOES have a point…ok , so here is a potentially unwashed hand picking up a piece of wax paper and picking up the donut….the donut side is sanitary, what about the hand side of that paper?
