The “reform” bill reduces aid to the poor, and phases out actual health insurance and HSAs over 5 years (forcing you to get an HMO unless you can afford the taxes and fines). With an HMO, corporate bureaucrats make your health care decision for you.
When they get the “public option”, government bureaucrats will make your decisions for you. Unless you are a rich fat cat (like Obama and Congress) who can afford real insurance on top of the taxes. (Assuming they even pay taxes, as many Congress persons haven’t.)
I can’t think of anyone this bill actually benefits. It is a power grab, pure and simple.
Yeh, I can’t think of anybody it benefits either, except people without insuance, sick people, unemployed…oh well, since most of Syl’s fans are staunch male conservatives like this guy, I don’t want to offend the majority on the board.
I mean, come on, what was he doing, cruising all the comics and posting this screed everywhere? Syl will never see him again! ;-)
