And even more paper for all your past and current medical issues, but the Dr may not believe you, anyway. Hey, he’ll be old some day!

I always bring my own list; saves me a lot of trouble.

My husband & I carry a 3×5 card with us at all times, listing our meds and in case of emergency contacts. We’ve been complimented on that more than once.I use to carry a more extensive list with procedures, vaccinations, etc. with me, but after having some major health problems, just a list isn’t sufficient. Now it is a 3-ring binder with reports and CD’s, and all the same info on a thumb drive.

My hubby and I have lists of each other’s meds and emergency contact numbers. His mother and my daughter also have med lists because they are secondary points of contact for both of us.

If he’s taking that many meds there is very little chance that he can remember all of them— or remember what a piece of paper is for that matter.

I found it easier to print them all up along with all my surgeries

You might want to discuss a “drug holiday” with your doctor…

My wife and I carry little cards with all her meds on them. After the experience we just had during a week in a hospital — where the hospital asked what she was taking and dutifully recorded all the information on the card, yet never gave her half of what she was prescribed — we’re thinking of making the card larger so they can’t possibly have an excuse for failing to keep up with her meds.

I keep my Medic-Alert online file up to date and wear a medallion with my ID number and their phone number. I also keep a medications and supplements list up to date on my computer and just print it out for each visit.

I am getting a fiendish delight in watching expressions when asked for Big Pharma’s leash and I tell them I am not taking any; and I left “a certain age” years ago. Now surgeries are another matter if including oral and/or going back to the 1930s, but only one left a visible scar.

There is only one item on my med list, but the list of things I am allergic too takes extra paper.

Or you already have the sheet printed out and have them staple it.
