@ Lard Wants World Peace: Spanish is easy to learn because it’s phonetic. Only 5 vowel sounds, you spell it the way it sounds and pronounce it the way it looks. Go for it. It changed my life. I live where I live and do what I do because of it. I found the love of my life because I was on a Spanish language study programme. We’ve been together for 33 years and have no intention of ever splitting up.Your life should be this good; and maybe if you learn Spanish it will be. :)

I grew up with French and English. This has given me some comprehension of Spanish, Italian and German. Wish I knew more of these languages.

One doesn’t pronounce it. How do the Americans spell “weight” without pronouncing the G, how do they spell “rough”? “Nite” isn’t exactly an official spelling.

My post is referring to Spanish, not English. In Spanish, the word is “programa.” No “me” to worry about. And you say it the way it looks: pro-gra-ma.

I wonder why everyone is talking about Spanish?

I already donate time. It is harder, but a much greater investment, with much better returns, than donating money.
