Welfare ain’t an option no more. Waiting tables or barista is, so there’s plenty of opportunity out there. Ultimately it doesn’t matter too much what you study because 75% of folks don’t end up working in anything related to their field of study.
Ad Sociology to that.
Never could tolerate philosophy. Always seemed like obfuscating double-talk. Gave me a headache.
Could always go on to a career with the clergy. These days, just a small step up from welfare, I’m afraid!
The good thing about being a philosophy major is that you know why you are unemployed…
