Peter- So true, but so ineffective. It’s like telling someone they are angry when they are obviously angry: just makes them madder, and inclines them to deny they were angry in the first place. Motivated irrationalities are not susceptible to rational correction that does not start with the motivations. Even then, talking someone out of their religion or cash cow has a bad track record.
