Can I have two? My husband regularly needs one.

It has been tough but Larry has always maintained a happy face.

now will we ever know what Larry;s been up to?

Looks like he’s died with a smile on his face.

Larry likes to nap undisturbed at the end of the day. Once his balled up fists relax, he will be fit for human company again. Of course this may not happen until the next morning.

And it’s from before Cleo could talk.

I guess this isn’t our first rodeo.

 

My mother, while telling us that superstitions were silly, was nonetheless obviously quite superstitious.

She made excuses for pulling us back from walking under a ladder,

throwing a bit of spilled salt over her shoulder…

And not wanting to have anything to do with the number 13.

 

So in spite of truly not believing in any of that stuff myself…

I still find myself somehow throwing salt too .. and knocking on wood, and flinching a teeny bit when this day comes along.

And laughing at myself.

 

Not as much as Cleo is laughing at Claude.

Some human ideas must seem incredibly stupid to a dog.

They really don’t buy the idea that we’re smarter than they are.

In fact, that proves we’re not.

But for some reason, he doesn’t wish to show it.

His memory appears to have failed him.

Well – walking under a ladder may be bad luck for the person standing on it.

Resulting in falling from if either Cleo or Claude (exor) decide to walk under it…

 

I was born in March.

On the the 13th of the month.

It was a Friday.

It is, was, and ever shall be a lucky day, and no fictionary character in some cartoon with his ladder, and his black cat, and his banana peel, and his fancy schmancy circley starry thingie, and his ᴋʀᴀᴋ!, and his ᴡʜᴀᴍ!, and his ᴋᴀᴡʜᴜᴍᴘ! and his ’57 Studebaker eyeglasses can change that.

Ever.

Larry should join Todd in the backyard.

I’d hate to see what Claude’s bad luck really is. Cleo will hopefully keep him out of it.

Cute animation today, Nighthawks & Stel. Wow is Claude lucky today! I’ll bet he can’t wait to get home so Clara can fix him up. But, once she gets a look at the condition of that trendy new East Face jacket…. he’ll be needing more fixing up.

At least they didn’t come across any “Do not Push” buttons.
