Well, no one said it yet, so I will. No worms in Tequila - the worms (moth larva, actually) are bottled only in Mezcal. The Tequila distilleries in Mexico are not allowed to put any insects or larva in their product. Tequila worms are an urban legend (unless your friendly bartender slipped a nightcrawler into a bottle) but the Mezcal worm is real (although not in the more expensive brands). Not criticizing the cartoon, just clearing up the Tequila thingie…
