A scene that cries out for wedding bells and Sluggo’s adoption into Nancy’s family!

Enjoy it while it lasts; some government agency will declare that rope swing as unsafe and have it cut down.

Thank you for the tribute to Robin Williams. His performance in The Fisher King reminds us that EVERYONE’s life is significant.

If his life was spectacular, why did he end it?

Now, she’s afraid to come out of the water. And the poor little girl’s turning blue. Two, three, four. Tell the people what she wore. Thanks Bryan Highland for this fun summer song. And, thanks Guy for this summer fun.

From the movie Patch Addams..(1998)“What’s wrong with death sir? What are we so mortally afraid of? Why can’t we treat death with a certain amount of humanity and dignity, and decency, and God forbid, maybe even humor. Death is not the enemy gentlemen. If we’re going to fight a disease, let’s fight one of the most terrible diseases of all, indifference.”

My son was about nine when he next in line for a turn on the log ride at Great America when Robin Williams exited the ride. The man behind my son said, “I know who you are. You’re… You’re…” My son shouted, “Robin Williams.” Robin said to him, “Yes. That ride will get you wet.” It wasn’t much of a conversation, but it was nice of him to acknowledge a little boy who recognized him.
