Baldo: That's a lot of vitamins, Tia Carmen. Tia: I keep some up here, too. Baldo: Why not keep all of them on the counter? Tia: I don't have to! Tia: My counter vitamins give me the flexibility... Tia: To reach my shelf vitamins!
And again and again scientific tests by those not paid by the vitamin industry prove that vitamin pills, at best, do no harm. Then have never been shown to be anything more than a very expensive placebo.
There was an expose on some news show years ago that talked about actual deaths and illnesses related to health-nuts who took dozens of supplements and vitamins a day. People think, if it’s healthy than it must be better in high doses but in fact it’s dangerous to take that many vitamins and supplements.
I fell into the Medicare “donut hole” in June! Since I can’t afford to pay for any of my many prescriptions, including insulin, I must do without them until the end of the year. I am definitely NOT ASKING for any sympathy, as many of you may assume, because I feel SO MUCH BETTER & am able to move about with ease! Makes you wonder about the “medical profession”, n’est-ce pas???

As fast as the vitamins work the counter vitamins are taken in the morning and the shelf vitamins are taken at night.

Those little pill boxes with the letters of the days of the week on the compartments work well on the counter, if there are no ninos around.

I only take supplements that my doctors have recommended for me, based on my health issues. No sense wasting money on stuff I don’t need.
