My test for whether a gun advocate is reasonable or crazy has been to see how far up the line he can be cajoled: hand guns, automatic rifles, machine guns, mortars, howitzers, nuclear-tipped missiles. I actually heard one gun advocate of the nut variety assert his “right” to own nuclear rounds for his imaginary 8-inch howitzer. By that point in the conversation he was foaming at the mouth. With friends like that it’s hard to convince people they do have rights to own weapons — within reason.
A nuke will violate the rights of neighbors. That is the right to swing my fist ends where your face begins. A mass destruction weapon is such a violation. Not like a gun that is a localized weapon.

Bombs don’t kill people. People kill people.

What utter balderdash. Moronic on a good day with a tail wind.

Well, he IS wearing a short-sleeve shirt, exercising his right to “bare arms”.
