Most of my Moes are dead now, and the world is a better place without them, I gloat and have absolutely no guilt about it. I’m so happy that they are dead. That Calvin can look twenty years into the future and wonder how he will feel about Moe, is an amazing quality he has, far more useful than whether he can add and subtract.

Study Calvin. You might be the prosecutor who puts him in jail.

They already sealed Calvin’s future, in the Pearls Before Swine strip, last year

There was the odd bully like Moe, but more kids whose main hobby seemed to be vandalism who were the ones in elementary school I thought would end up in prison a few years down the road.

I’m 76 and have never forgotten how a boy, whose dad owned a new car dealership, laughed at the old, old car I was driving. It wasn’t even my car , it was my parents! The dealership went broke and I now drive a Cadillac . I always made sure my sons had nice cars to drive. Very immature, I know.

Class reunions – where you go and see fat old women and bald headed men who thought they were hot stuff back then! .I was one of those that always looked younger back in school. Didn’t start shaving as early, baby face, skinny etc. .Now i love it! Still have my hair and at 59 only some grey flicked in. Weight is not up and I’m still in pretty good shape! .Sometimes you really do get the last laugh!

Had my childhood filled with Moe’s. Ironically, half of them became the best Chicago cops money could buy. And the other half became crooked lawyers. Are there any other kind? Better them than me.

Several years ago, I Googled the name of a childhood friend who was a “Juvenile Delinquent”. Of the possible candidate hits, there was one of the right age who had been in prison. He was currently working as a sort of “Speaker”, going to prisons and giving talks on how to avoid going back to prison upon being released. If that is my friend, I’m glad he found a way to do something positive with his life.

@Jaddis: In early Christianity, the Apostle Paul was the ultimate bully-transformed-to -zealous-convert. He went from murdering Christians to spreading Christianity.

@spaced man spliff: I was talking about the ultimate convert for Christianity, because of Moe’s conversion in the Pearls Before Swine strip that I posted. The Apostle Paul brought Christianity to non-Jewish people, his writings are included in the Bible, and those writing have helped to continue converting people to Christianity for 2000 years, as well as influencing the lives of Christians over that time.

The above comment was in response to an entry that appears to have been removed, ie christians killed more christians in the 4th century than the romans had up to that time.
