He took off into the wind!

It’s an early Woodstock, Eyjaf, yes. Often there was a little group of them. He evolved a bit visually later on, and also Schulz pared it down to just the one bird.

I’d take him to be Woodstock.

Woodstock’s GPS is out of kilter.

Snoopy is very polite to his friends. So, how do birds know the right way if Snoopy isn’t there to point it out to them?

I’m having a difficult time reading the original copyright, but unless it is post-1969, then Woodstock would be an obscure town in what New Yorkers call “Upstate New York.” (Anything north of the Bronx is “upstate.”)

I’m pretty sure regardless of which direction you start with when flying, eventually you will get to the same destination…

Most of the time when people ask me for directions, I normally don’t have a clue despite living in the area for 14 years

Somebody asked where the ferry terminal was and luckily I remembered where it was.

So, that view of Snoopy’s kennel is seen from the west looking east toward sunrises. There’s a nice bit of trivia.
